Glen St Park
approx. 120 Glen St, East Somerville
These directions work, but there maybe better ways, if you discover one please let us know, and we will update the directions on the website. There is not a lot of street parking available around Park, so allow for extra time.
From the North, take 93S: Take Exit 30, for Route 28 South. Follow 28 South, crossing Broadway, move to left lane, and look for first chance to go left. Turn left onto Pearl Street, right on Cross St., Left on Fountain. Fountain dead ends onto to Glen Street. Field is in front of you, Park where you can on surrounding streets.
From the South, take 93N: Take exit 28 (Sullivan Square exit). At the bottom of the ramp, take a left (sign directs you towards Somerville). This is Cambridge Street. Once on Cambridge Street, go about a half mile, passing the Holiday Inn on the left. Just before the train bridge that crosses above Cambridge Street, take a right on Tufts Street (one street after Franklin Street)...sorry there are no landmarks here but the bridge. Once on Tufts Street, take a right onto Glen Street (almost immediately). The field is on your right on Glen Street. Park where you can on surrounding streets.
From Boston: If you are not taking 93 North and get to Sullivan Square via Rutherford Ave (going past the Bunker hill Community College), go around the rotary at Sullivan Square and get off on Cambridge Street (following signs for the Holiday Inn). Once on Cambridge Street, go about a half mile, passing the Holiday Inn on the left. Just before the train bridge that crosses above Cambridge Street, take a right on Tufts Street (one street after Franklin Street)...sorry there are no landmarks here but the bridge. Once on Tufts Street, take a right onto Glen Street (almost immediately). The field is on your right on Glen Street.
From Cambridge/Brighton or Mass Pike: take Mass Pike and get off at Cambridge tolls. Make sure you take Cambridge exit, this puts you on Cambridge St., which becomes River St. If you live in the city you can either take Storrow Drive or Memorial Drive to this point. Turn slight right onto Western Ave., then turn slight left onto Magazine St. (River St, Western Ave., and Magazine St. seem like one road). Go over Mass Ave. and Magazine St. becomes Prospect St., turn slight right onto Washington St., turn left onto Tufts St., turn right onto Glen St. and start looking for parking.
