Our rotation with all 7 regulars was, Steve serving, Pam, David, Mike, Diane rotating in to front strong side, Tony, Karen.
* On 10/10/99 Diane couldn't make it and Marianna substituted for her.
On 10/17/99 Diane couldn't make it, but the other 6 full time players were there.
On 10/31/99 Karen and Steve couldn't make it, and Marianna and Josh substituted for them.
On 11/14/99 Karen and Steve couldn't make it, and Tony and Pam arrived late (they did inform there Capitan beforehand :-), so we started the 1st match with 3, finished it with 4, and those were the only 2 games we lost. Mike had come from a tournament and wasn't moving very quickly In that 1st match!
On 11/21/99 Pam and I arrived late and Steve was still sick. So we were short handed the 1st game, and several other games that night because Pam was on-call and ended up missing the last match and a half. We split every match.
On 12/5/99 Pam couldn't make it, and Steve didn't show up so we played with 5. We could have pulled back into 1st place if we had gone 8-0, but as it ended we split with Happy Birthday, in the last match of the night, leaving us tied with them for 2nd place.
Marianna came to playoffs (after I helped her study for her C programming final), and badly sprained her ankle while playing in a warm up game! Pam and Eric came to cheer us on, and we made it through the 1st round and lost the tie-breaker game in the 2nd. We lost to the team whose player (Tim Dwyer) had taken out Marianna in that warm up game, just to add insult to injury!
