Spanish Inquisition has been playing in the Boston Ski & Sports Club Sunday night league in the Newton Armory for a very long time. The Sunday night league is an intermediate level league, but the level of play has gotten progressively stronger over the years1, until it is just a tad lower than the level of some of the advanced leagues. I don't remember when it was that David and I first joined our teams, but it was somewhere between 1990 and 1994. The team was named by Jeremy Richman and myself after the Monty Python sketch, because we figured "Nobody expects the Spanish Inquistion!".
I began recording the team members and record on web pages with the 1999 fall session. There are 3 sessions each year, fall, winter and spring. Sessions run approximately 12 weeks, and there is a break over the summer.

Casual Sets has been playing maybe 2 years less than Spanish Inquisition. It moved back and forth between Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Newton armory, but finally settled on Wednesday nights.
Casual Sets plays in the BSSC Advanced League, and David Rind is the captain while I am the co-captain.
In the Fall of 2001, the team moved to the Tuesday night Advanced League.
Sadly, in the Fall of 2004 the BSSC canceled the Tuesday night league I think because they were unable to field enough teams, and the Casual Sets team disbanded. I really miss that team.

Once Again is a 6 man team that Leo put together to play in the BSSC Outdoor intermediate league.
I joined Karl Kowalski's team which plays in the BSSC Tuesday night league in the Cambridge armory starting in the Winter 2005 session.
I haven't started team pages for this league, yet.
The Spanish Inquisition pages, will use the font Satanas Humanum Salvator for the team name if it is installed. The font came from fonts.mrfisk.com.
