Schedule/Record
The Wednesday League has 9 teams. We are team #4.
We ended the season in 6th place.
Everyone made it to playoffs. We played pretty well, but were defeated in the 1st round. It was a little tough to play with 8 players.

- 10/9/2001
- This was the 1st night, We tried out 3 men for 1 spot and
ended up adding both Marcos and Ted to
the full-time roster. Ming, is also joining our roster as
a sub. Jill couldn't make it, so we were down 3 points every
game (except the last 3 games Boo was injured
<nothing serious!> and sat out so that we were down
6 points for those games).
I just want to add that I think this will be a fun team to play with. Everyone has a good attitude. - 10/16/2001
- It was sort of a rough night. Partly because this was the first night the whole team played together, and partly because we had 8 players. We ended up sitting one person out per game for the last 6 games (couldn't sit the women, we needed them playing!). In the future, David is supposed to pick the person who shouldn't show up for that week, so we don't have 8 at the same time again (assuming he needs to, since mostly we're figuring that at least one person probably won't be able to make it each week anyway).

- See I thought this team had potential. Ted was the
absent player tonight (not that I'm saying that is the reason
that we did so well
) so that we could have only 7
players in the lineup. Everyone was playing well, the
defense was awesome, both back row and blocking, and Michael
P. was hitting like someone posessed. Our one loss was against
one of the weaker teams, and we just seemed a little out of it
that game. But we got right back in it and won the remaining
3 games of the night, including one comeback from 6 - 16 (I
need to verify that score with David). - 10/30/2001
- David, Dan and Boo were unable to play. Ming was a substitute.

- Dan and Boo weren't there. Pam subbed for Boo.

- David wasn't there. We played pretty well against some tough teams. Made a few too many errors, but overall an enjoyable night of volleyball.

- Michael and Dan were not be there. Despite a valiant attempt to go 0-8 we somehow won 3 games.
