Hmm, I've completely forgotten how we did or who was there. Although I know I was there! Anyway Michael sent me our record for that week, and so this page is once again complete .

1/8/2002

Boo was sick and couldn't play. Michael P. and Jill also were not there. Fortunately for us, Dan got Sarah to sub, so we had 5 players and 1 woman, instead of 4 and none.

Dan couldn't make it.

David had a pulled muscle and couldn't make it. Jill also couldn't make it.

Mike L. was sick and couldn't make it. Dan also couldn't make it.

Boo and Jill were both sick and couldn't make it. David was dealing with buying a house and couldn't make it. Pam had made other plans before we asked her so she couldn't sub. Sarah had injured her ankle so she couldn't sub. So we played with 4 guys. It was a little sad. We won 2 games from Cha Shui because we make a deal not to give up the 6 points in return for them adding a player not on their roster. And those games were very close.

Dan couldn't make it. Wendy, Michael's fiance came to watch.

Michael and Dan couldn't make it. Ted got injured in the 3rd match (a shot caught him in the face and his glasses cut his eye.

Playoffs. The whole team was there. We ended the league in 5th place. Due to an interesting playoff schedule we played the 4th place team, Cha Shu in the 1st round. That was an extremely close match. We lost the 1st game, came back to win the 2nd game by 2 points, and then won the tiebreaker by 2 points.
Our next match was against Ben's Taubman's team. We lost 2 tightly fought games to lose the match. Overall our team was playing well and it was a fun playoff night.
